Editorial Reviews
From the Manufacturer
The My Brest Friend nursing pillow was designed to properly support mom and baby during breastfeeding. Other nursing pillows and multi-purpose, crescent shaped pillows aren't secure and don't fully wrap around the body. As a result, they can shift, forcing mom to constantly readjust; this can add up to difficulty with positioning and latch on. No other pillow provides as much support, comfort and security for your breastfeeding ease.

Mixed Feelings on This!
I have mixed feedings on this product. I chose it over the boppy because I liked the snap that secures it to your body. The Boppy seemed to be more flexible and I thought it was more likely to slip while trying to nurse.
However, after using this product I have some positives and negatives to share. I do not have a boppy, so my comparisons are based just on information about the product on Amazon.
Positives:
1. It does conform to the body and stay secure pretty well.
2. It provides good support for the cradle and cross-cradle hold for breastfeeding.
Negatives:
1. It is HUGE. I cannot use it in a recliner because it is too wide. I have a recliner in the nursery and it seems like a waste that I can't use the nursery to nurse with this product.
2. It is not as versatile as the boppy. The boppy can be moved all around your body, and the baby can sit in it. The brest friend can really only be in one position because of the back support, it can't be rotated. The football hold is impossible with my brest friend. The baby really can't lay in it.
3. I don't find this product especially comfortable for bottle feeding, though it sounds like other reviewers don't have this problem.
4. I had a c-section, and it was about three weeks before I could use this comfortably.
All in all, if I had to do it again I would probably get a Boppy, but that doesn't mean this product isn't right for the right person.
The Best Nursing Pillow Ever!
I tried the boppy first, but it constantly slipped out of place. My husband bought this for me to try because it wraps around and doesn't move. I was angry that he spent more money on another nursing pillow, but after using it I would have paid 5 times the amount. What a difference! It gives you lower back support and you can actually walk around and do stuff (one handed of course). I used mine for two kids and am now buying one for a baby shower gift. Highly recommended!
Mom of Twins Review
I tried this pillow while nursing my twins, hoping it would make things easier. I used it for about a week before switching back to the boppy. I felt this pillow was really expensive and it was so big. I had a hard time getting ready and adjusting. I was much more successful popping the boppy on to my lap and then double nursing the twins.
