I would dare to say it is the greatest Russian writing I read so far.
Wonderful short stories with every kind of love affairs, betrayals, princesses and paladins, balls, decadent meal, lots of drinking and all kind of drama.

This book makes you think about the individual in the society and the global processes that are running parallel to us.
As opposed to Amsterdam I loved every character and was deeply drawn into the story.
Simply good.
