1984 (Signet Classics)1984 (Signet Classics) by George Orwell
Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $0.99
For me, 1984 is the best description of what it feels like to suffer from OCD. Think of Big Brother as the Super-ego, Winston Smith as the Ego, and and the brotherhood as the Id and you'll have a pretty good understanding of the way that various parts of the mind are at war with each inside the head of an OCDer.
