About the Author
Born in Tennessee, Anne Byrn graduated from the University of Georgia and received advanced certification from La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine in Paris. She was the food editor of the Atlanta Jounral-Constitution for 15 years. The author of COOKING IN THE NEW SOUTH, Byrn has received numerous awards and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Julia Child Cookbook Awards. Byrn, her husband, and her two children live in Nashville.
Anne Hathaway is a noted fine artist. A native of Georgia, she received her BFA from the University of Georgia, and has also attended the University of Washington and the Atlanta School of Art. Her work has appeared in Southern Living, Ladies Home Journal, Parade Magazine, and other publications.

Easy and Tasty Food Gift Ideas
This book was a Julia Child Cookbook Award Nominee because it is great! It is broken down into the four seasons with specific gift-giving suggestions, many make-ahead ideas and it offers many ideas for presentation of your gifts. The recipes are easy to follow and they taste great!
