It all begins when you bring your Webkinz plush toy home, and you pick the name and determine whether it's a boy or a girl. After adoption, you are shown your pet's room, and can use your 2,000 in KinzCash to decorate, buy furniture, clothes and food from the W Shop. Your pet relies on you to take care of it by monitoring the Happy, Health and Hunger meters. Webkinz received the 2006 iParenting Media Award and 2007 Toy of the Year (TOTY). Measures 10". So close and yet so far...
In my household, this would make webkins animal number 5 and webkins computer support failure number 2. The plush toys themselves are adorable and seem durable enough in all cases so 5 stars there I guess. However, one doesn't just purchase the toy but also an online account wherein one "plays" with the virtual pet. While my wife entered the activation code, the webkins server had a glitch and didn't activate the account. However, when we tried again, it apparently had recorded that the code had already been used. Therefore, the virtual pet cannot be "created" and we now have an overpriced stuffed animal. Webkins has terrible customer support and are totally non-responsive despite appearing to have a customer support link on their site. As I said earlier, this is the second time that the fickle webkins site and rules have burned us. So if 3 out of 5 ain't bad in your world...go for it. For the 3 that do work, the webkins world and games are fun and pretty educational (hence wanting more).

Cute cat with character
I gave this cat to my granddaughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it ... even more than other more expensive toys. Although the cat's head is sort of twisted to one side, she said it shows the cat has character. I believe most children would love this plush, soft, cute stuffed cat.

This Webkinz is really cute - nice size and feel, and a sweet expression. It looks just like our cat, so I had the cat give it to our granddaughter for Christmas! She was really surprised, and loves it. She loves going to the Webkinz website and playing the games there too. It is definitely worth the price!
