About the Author
Karen Christino (Brooklyn, NY) is a consulting astrologer with more than fifteen years of experience. She has been the astrologer for Modern Bride and Your Prom magazines for seven years. She currently writes the “Stylescopes” column for Life & Style Weekly magazine. Christino has also written horoscope columns for Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Twist, and American Cheerleader magazines. She’s written features and forecasts for For the Bride, Marie Claire, Seventeen, and Teen People. She wrote the “Choose Your Career” advice column for American Astrology magazine for more than ten years and her work has been featured in numerous astrology journals. She holds a B.A. from Colgate University, has received top professional accreditation from the National Council for Geocosmic Research, and is a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors.

Fun Guide for Brides
Your Wedding Astrologer is a cool book and makes a terrific
gift! I got it for my astrology-crazed Aquarius friend for her engagement.

It's got great info on wedding planning with tons of ideas for each sign, flowers, colors and even cities are included. There are suggestions on handling a commitment and sex for all signs. Plus, the scoop on the twelve kinds of in-laws, husbands and attendants, all from the astrologer for Modern Bride and Your Prom who really knows her stuff.

I wish someone had given Your Wedding Astrologer to me! I
would have been better prepared for my Capricorn husband's "no
frills/few thrills" lifestyle sigh.

Karen Christino has managed to write a fun to read and informative book on using the wisdom of astrology in planning a wedding. Add reading this book to your wedding planner "To Do" list. If you don't believe in astrology, read it anyway; there is much insight that may change your mind. If you do believe and are planning a wedding, don't miss out on her sage advice! You will enjoy it either way.

A lot of research went into this book
I like everything about this book, from the beautiful periwinkle cover with astrological graphics, to the blue typeface throughout its 256 pages! Clearly a lot of thought and creativity went into the book's presentation and layout, and a huge amount of research, innate knowledge and heartfelt experience went into its creation. My husband, an ardent non-believer in things astrological, immediately opened the book to his sign, and read about it with interest and enthusiasm, which speaks to the universal nature of the observations, interpretations, and sheer pleasure one can expect from this wonderfully organized, informative book! The author has also included a good bibliography and some great websites. An information-packed reference guide, useful even for those not involved in wedding planning. And I loved the descriptions of in-laws by sign!
