Pricey but nice
We got both the salt and matching pepper mills. They look good, seem to be well designed, and work well. The only annoying thing is that the domed cap (under the grinder handle) can move up and down freely about 1/4 to 1/2 inch for no apparent reason. Nonetheless, we like them.

Great pepper mill, beautiful!!
I bought this one for my sister for Christmas and it works great. I originally bought one on ebay for half the price, but when it arrived (on Christmas) it was half the size and was a "coffee mill" with a canister bottom. And it was more expensive to ship it back to Greece than to just keep it so it turned out to be a big waste of money.

Be careful that you are buying one specific to PEPPER and not salt or coffee...The Atlas brand is incomparable.

Great ginding
This mill was purchased as a gift for a friend who is an enthusiastic cook. He is delighted. It holds lots of peppercorns and can be easily adjusted to "the perfect grind." Classic looks with a polished brass finish make it compatible with most kitchens.
