Great socks
I love those jazzy socks. They are very nice, long lasting and hold well on the baby's feet. I have also received a lot of compliments. It's also nice that they don't have crazy colors (light bright yellow or orange).

Cute, but there are cuter socks out there
I do like these socks, and they are good quality. They seem to run a bit larger than other brands, and may fit your chubby footed baby better (and therefore also will be a bit large for a small newborn). However, I think the Trumpette socks are way cuter because the laces on these socks are simply printed in the fabric, where the Trumpette sneaker sock laces are actual laces. In this particular variety pack, I like the cowboy boot socks the best. I don't seem to put the other styles on my son as often and therefore could have lived without this set.
