Best iPod Case out there
There are a multitude of cases for the iPod out there-hard plastic, soft plastic, even socks. Most share the same flaws-they don't completely protect the iPod, and if they do, they obscure the controls and make the unit harder to use and enjoy.

The iSkin is the nearly-perfect compromise. It's two pieces-a rubbery, nubbly silicone exterior than covers most of the unit, and a hard, clear plastic faceplate that fits over the front of the iPod to protect the screen. The iskin is form-fitting, so the ipod won't rattle around inside, and it covers the entire unit, so there's no way it can get scratched. But it also doesn't obscure the controls, ports, or screen, so you can use the iPod just as well with it on as off. A sturdy, removable belt clip allows you to attach the ipod to your belt for jogging or working out. Unlike other cases, the iSkin is not clunky or ugly-it comes in a variety of attractive colors (I use blue with a white iPod).

On the downside, it's expensive-almost 30$, which is pricey for a case. The silicone tends to pick up dirt and lint, although it's easily cleaned off with a moist towel. It increases the size and weight of the ipod, making it hard to use universal docks, for example. It's a pain to get on and off, so once you have it on, you won't want to pull it off again.

Overall, I think the iskin represents an excellent compromise between protecting and enjoying the iPod. I highly recommend it.

Coolest Case ever!!!
This case is beautiful and protects the entire Ipod. It even protects the click wheel. There is no contact between the rough part of the case and the Ipod; thus, it will not scratch it. It is so elegantly that it actually makes my black video ipod look better. It's very light and crash resistant. It is not bulky at all. The belt clip is removable so u can take it off when u don't need it. I highly recommend it. I have gotten some envious looks already and I recieved a couple of days ago. Lol!

Sweet!
A friend recommended the iskin and so I was able to check it out first-hand before I made my purchase. That was helpful, as I wasn't sure from the photos how bulky it was, etc. I carry it in my purse all the time with no problem; I've had it a month and the plastic front hasn't even scratched, even with my wallet and keys around! It's actually no bulkier or heavier than any other case I've tried. The silicone material actually provides a convenient bit of traction, so that it doesn't accidentally slip off a desktop or off the front seat of the car. I'm not sure why people are concerned about the lint problem, it's not a big deal to take a cloth and dust it off. I generally don't notice it at all. Don't cut the hold switch area out-- it's easy to switch back and forth with a fingernail. I had been using a different case for the last 6 months that scratched up the outside of my ipod, but this one protects well and doesn't scratch, even when I am especially active. Great product so far.
