Customer Reviews
Foundation piecing made very easy.
Not only does this book provide 65 different block patterns,
but you also get complete, easy to understand instructions
and hints for foundation piecing. With many sample quilt
ideas and instructions, you'll want to get started right
away. I won a blue ribbon at the state fair with one!!
Good variety of patterns and applications.
I bought this book 15 months or so ago and loved it from the start. What look to be complicated and tricky designs are really straight-forward. There are coloured pages of striking combinations to demonstrate possibilities along with instructions if you want to copy. Otherwise you can have a lot of fun making up your own from the good variety of patterns/settings. I love foundation piecing and Ms Doak's patterns have been straight-forward to sew and pleasing to look at.
A GREAT book for quilting..simply the best!
First book I got on paper foundation...and will probably be the best one! Easy to follow instructions, and the BEST patterns! Carol really makes it easy to learn and do this type of quilting.
