When my first child was born, I researched vaccines and discovered that they are often unsafe and ineffective. I documented my findings in "Vaccines: Are They Really Safe and Effective?" so that other parents would be able to make more informed decisions regarding this controversial subject.

Today, new studies validate my early warnings. For example, the prestigious medical journal, Lancet, published a landmark study by Dr. Andrew Wakefield linking the MMR vaccine to bowel inflammation and "developmental regression to autism." In addition, several congressional hearings were held to determine why autism rates have soared. In some parts of the country 1 of every 150 children is now autistic.

My goal in writing this book is twofold: 1) to offer parents substantial evidence of MMR vaccine safety and efficacy defects — information that they are unlikely to hear from their doctors — so that truly informed decisions may be made; and 2) to chronicle MMR studies, congressional efforts to initiate positive change, and the continuing denials and coverups by vaccine proponents within the medical industry. I am opposed to bogus "proofs" of vaccine safety (such as studies funded by vaccine manufacturers), health mandates (forced immunizations), and other coercive tactics used to intimidate wavering parents. Thousands of children have already been hurt by MMR and other vaccines. Generations are falling victim to medical "progress." Regardless, autism and other developmental disorders are not childhood rites of passage. By mustering our collective outrage at this current state of affairs, shifts in consciousness and practices can occur.

Rebuttal to the uninformed...who slammed this Book
What a refreshing thing to find! Unlike the other uninformed...who posted untruths, studies are starting to show a definite link between things in Vaccines causing autism... As far as those horrible childhood diseases coming back, are you insane?? We no longer vax for Smallpox (as it killed and mamed more than it helped) and it hasn't come back. There has not been a SINGLE CASE of wild polio in the WESTERN HEMISPHERE in 25 years. It hasn't come back.. Oh accept for those kids who GOT polio FROM the vaccine... OOOPS..
I HIGHLY recommend this book. It is ABOUT TIME that the drug companies STOP putting poisons into the vaccines that the GOVERNMENT mandates we inject into our children..
More parents need to research this before letting their newborns be injected with Goodness only knows what...

Vaccines can trigger autism
My son became autistic at the age of 12 months immediately following the MMR vaccine. Vaccine-induced autism can be avoided simply by using vaccines that do not contain mercury, & by breaking up the vaccine load--give the M, then the M, then the R, not all at once. Remember, anything the disease can do to your child, the vaccine can do to your child. That said, there will be no outbreak of disease if the majority continues to be vaccinated. Just avoid vaccines if your child is immune deficient or if you have a family history of autism or other neurological disabilities. Bernard Rimland is the foremost expert on autism & savior of autistic children in the US. Ignore the ignorant first reviewer, & read everything of Rimland's that you can get your hands on.

This well written and straightforward book outlines the facts about vaccines and the vaccine industry that have been withheld from the public for too long. It details the statistics that show how children are unwittingly paying the price for the mass misinformation campaign waged by public health authorities and vaccine manufactureres. Vaccines are no longer about preventing disease, as they have become a legislated profit center for vaccine manufactureres and a number on the DOW. The manufacturers have been legislatively freed from liability, and can pay the FDA to fast track approval of their products. There are no checks and balances, and the public is forced to vaccinate or face difficulties getting their children into school, or worse, face jail or be fined. There are just too many injured children for the health community to continue to deny the connection between vaccines and autism, add/adhd, diabetes, allergies, asthma, and a host of other chronic neurological and immune disfunctions plaguing children at epidemic proportions. This book provides accurate statistics and historical data that puts the "miracle" of vaccines into perspective. It details the known hazards such as toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde, antifreeze and other ingredients, as well as the contaminants such as simian virus 40 and other cancer causing animal viruses that have massively contaminated vaccines for decades.
