Pops A Ripoff
Tested out the product in a garage today...not only did the product (used correctly as per instructions) fail to correct even the smallest of dents, it actually added a couple of dents to the panel! Do not waste your time/money with this "miracle" product unless you want to give a real bodyman a gag birthday gift!
Pops a dent in my opinion doesn't work.
Pops a dent in my opinion doesn't work...I purchased pops a dent to remove hail damage....Pops a dent says that it easily removes dents...they say that it keeps your car looking great...in my opinion nothing could be further from the truth...all I received is no dents popped out and a burnt finger from the hot wax....
When I contacted pops a dent and you can save.com, they said that they would not refund the shipping cost...and they said that this was properly disclosed...so we failed to reach an
agreement on giving me money to send it back: since this was
purch. with a gift certificate and as A-Z guar as i understand
they do cover shipping costs, there seems to be some discrepancy here that needs to be investigated in terms of product failure, and shipping costs appropriately recovered....to be fair, I'm out a 25 dollar gift certificate and the product doesn't work...Why should I have to pay hard earned money to send back a defective product and not be compensated for it....a-z as I understand it recovers shipping if you purchased a product with a gift certificate.
Cheaper than a body shop and it DOES work.
I agree with the guy that said this product does actually work if you follow the directions. Also, don't always expect a repaired ding to look perfect after one, or maybe even five tries. It does take time, but you can, with enough time, patience, and understanding of how the product works, make dents and dings disappear.
So far I've removed numerous dents and dings from my car, and also a pretty deep dent, bordering on a crease, from a dirt bike gas tank.
One thing to remember when using this product though, make sure you use enough glue so it comes through the holes in the part you initially attach to the dent.
This product is a LOT cheaper than a body shop, has never hurt any paint or finish (from my experiences), and does a great job. $20 or less is a far lower price than you would pay a body shop.
