Buy new: $19.99 Melissa and Doug does wonderful wooden food. We got this as a gift on her first birthday (it does say for 3+ on box), and she has used it over and over ever since. This is an excellent value and will last. So much nicer than all the plastic food out there. The box is also quite useful and sturdy for storage.

Buy new: $184.99 This was actually an extraordinarily generous hand me down gift from some friends. I do not know if we would have purchased it otherwise, but it has been an amazing little barn. We bought a collection of little farm animals to use with it and our daughter has gotten a big kick out of it. She can use it in a number of ways, including as a doll house if her imagination leads her there.

Well, I cannot vouch for this brand in particular, but playsilks are simply the most fabulous, versatile "toy" you can have for your child. Our daughter has used them in countless ways (as dress-up, as a baby sling, as blankets, to hide in, to wrap presents, for pretend picnics, etc). Regardless of brand or colors, just get yourself some playsilks. You will not regret it.

Buy new: $92.02 This is of excellent quality and was used extensively, although not in order to teach our daughter to walk (if that is what it's purpose is). She has carted all manner of things all over our house in this--including herself! This could be passed down many times over.
