It's OK.
This product is OK, but it is not how I learn. The book does not follow the CDs very well. Also, the writers make it a point to have Spanish speakers from different countries on the CDs, but the different accents make it difficult to understand some of the words. This makes it VERY difficult for me to get my own pronunciation right.
The lessons on the CD are somewhat organized, but do not follow an incredibly logical pattern.
Overall, this is an OK product, but not for me. The structure does not go with my learning style very well.

Learn some phrases for a trip
This is a great starting place for leaning a language. I work full time, so the 10 minutes a day structure is great. The CD Rom is ok and has some fun review games. It is pretty basic, so if you know any Spanish, this book may be too easy for you. The removable labels for around your house are a neat touch.

Good Process for Beginners
This is a good primer for beginners in Spanish. It is divided into subjects/themes, but each is not structured in the same way; the author keeps us interested by variety of presentation. The pictures and the highlighted charts are helpful and make the process fun. Sometimes sentences with all Spanish words are presented, but in an interesting technique, some sentences are presented mostly in English but with a few Spanish words to highlight for the learner. There is some focus on verb conjugation and a great focus on pronunciation and proper use of articles. The process includes a variety of writing exercises. There is a glossary at the end and also an ongoing color-highlighted one at the bottom of many pages. As for the CD-ROM: OK, but limited in scope.

I recommend this book because it is easy reading and smooth learning. As a final note, I point out that I find particularly valuable a special, expanded glossary focusing on food and restaurant items.
