This set of four measuring cups and five measuring spoons are a must-have for regular bakers. Both are made of heavyweight 18/10 stainless-steel for durability and long-lasting use. The measuring cups are useful for larger quantities of dry ingredients, such as flour, sugar, and beans, while the measuring spoons handle ingredients in smaller quantities, such as salt, spices, and baking powder. The measuring cups can even be used right on the stovetop to melt butter or chocolate.

The unique oval shape of both the measures and the spoons is specifically designed for dipping into narrow bags and jars and pulling out ingredients, and the thick rims make it easy to level off your scoop with either a knife or a finger. The gradual measuring cups come in sizes of ¼-, ½-, ¾-, and 1 cup and are held together by a stainless-steel ring looped through the handles. Never knew I needed these...
...until they were given to me as a gift. Now I would not be without them. The shape alone makes them worthwhile, especially for the spoons. Think spice jars. Plus they are also very sturdy...the handle of the measuring cup will not bend back or break off as you're digging into hardened brown sugar,etc. You can melt butter in them and it won't easily scorch. Fantastic! Did a woman design these????

This set is perfect!
This set of measuring cups and spoons is absolutely perfect. The price is a real bargain too.

The oval shape is ingenious. It is a LOT easier to get the oval cup or spoon into containers. If I needed to get a cup of flour out of my flour canister, I had to be so much more careful with the round cup or else I'd spill the flour all over the place. It's a lot easier to get into spice containers and other small containers as well.

It's very heavy duty. Heavy duty and great quality. This is important because then I can melt butter in the 1-cup. A lot of time I have to pull out and measure out a cup of something anyways, and then - instead of pulling out a pot or something to melt butter, I can just dump the butter into the 1-cup, put it over the burner, and have nice melted butter in moments. When I do this, the bottom does not get damaged or scorched in any way and the handle doesn't even get hot (this is under low heat). This makes it one less thing to wash during clean up.

I can think of plenty of pros and no cons. These have definitely replaced all my old measuring cups and spoons. I would highly recommend this set!!

VERY sturdy, great quality.
These measuring cups and spoons are definitely a heafty design. They will not bend in brown sugar like most medal measuring utensils. Worth the price! The cups are heavy though, so be prepared for that. The oval design allows the cups and spoons to fit into boxes and spice jars for scooping. I have been completely satisfied with mine and expect to have them for a lifetime, that is if my 10 month old doesn't lose them during playtime in the kitchen :).
