Average customer review:
Every baker out there deserves to have at least a couple of commercial half-size baking sheets in their culinary arsenal. I refuse to bake on anything else, and once you try using them you probably won't either. There is simply no comparison. Are you a Closet Cookie Burner? These might very well cure you. Really. Chicago Metallic (a well respected name in the restaurant equipment industry) offers a set of two heavyweight baking sheets at a bargain price for something that is a mainstay in my kitchen. Treat them well and they will last for ages--I've had some of mine for over 15 years. I almost always line mine with unbleached parchment paper--something else I can't believe I ever lived without.

Product Description

Chicago Metallic COMMERCIAL bakeware is manufactured to meet the exacting standards of commercial bakers and consumers who prefer the tradition of baking on uncoated pans. Each pan is crafted from heavy-weight aluminized steel which combines the durability, strength and superior heat conduction of steel with the tough corrosion-resistance of an aluminum alloy.

Customer Reviews

High quality at a fair price4
The dimensions of this cookie/jelly roll pan are 18" x 13" x 1." Note that these pans are the non-coated variety. They are sturdy and live up to the Chicago Metallic name. One of the two I received has a small dent in it, and I have had this happen on one other occasion with Chicago Metallic Commercial pans that came in a set of two. I decided to keep the dented pan and it has not caused any difficulties in using it to bake cookies or roast vegetables or meats.

Treat yourself to the real thing5
After using typical cookie sheets for most of my adult life, I finally got fed up and decided to pay for good ones. What a difference! Can a normal person get pleasure out of a cookie pan? Well, you can if you appreciate quality--especially if you have always done without it before. Anyway--I am ENJOYING these pans. They are hefty--no resounding "pop" after a few minutes in the oven. They fit in my dishwasher--which is a real plus. I expect to enjoy them for many years to come.

Solution to Label Glue5
These pans are mahvelous, dahling. Having said that, I've read lots of reviews that included complaints about the strength of the adhesive used to stick the labels on the pans. To one, to all: There is a product called "GOO GONE" that is designed for just this type of thing. You can find it almost anywhere, hardware stores, grocery stores, etc. It works in minutes, and leaves no trace of the adhesive behind. Just be sure the wash the pan afterwards. Happy adhesive-free baking!
