Amazon.com Product Description
A useful collection for any pizza-loving household, this three-piece pizza-stone set includes a 15-by-14-inch square pizza stone, a wooden handled pizza cutter, and a durable 15-by-18-inch rack for convenient serving. The pizza stone provides an ideal surface for cooking the perfect pizza. Made of ceramic, the stone distributes heat evenly so there are no hot spots while it absorbs excess moisture to deliver a delicious, light and crispy crust. The stone also comes in handy for baking bread, cookies, biscuits, tortillas, pretzels, rolls, and bagels, plus it works great for heating and reheating ready-made or frozen pizzas, too. Because it retains heat, bringing the stone from the oven directly to the table allows for keeping foods warm while serving. The pizza-stone set carries a five-year limited warranty.

don't make pizza without one
I don't care if you only make frozen pizzas -- this will make them taste much better. For those who love to make their own, like me, it beats all other methods of cooking pizza, hands down. However, be aware that it takes a bit of practice to get used to using one since the stone must pre-heat BEFORE you put the pizza on it. Which makes owning a 'pizza peel' a must, too (which also takes some practice to use properly). But the results are well worth the effort! This isn't a one-trick pony, either -- you can cook biscuits, cookies and my personal favorite, hash-browns/fried-taters better than any skillet method ever could.
More than pizza!
We've used this for a little over a month for just about everything. Stones are great for bread and cookies as well. It seems to be pretty durable as I've set it down strongly a couple times with no issues. If you are looking for a less expensive stone then this is it.
crispy bottom
Instead of heating up my kitchen using the oven, I decided to place this pizza stone on the grill outside. Being that it is a square stone, I was able to fit it on with no problem. A round one would be a problem to fit. Otherwise, you got to have a control temperature of about 450 degrees and it turned out good. Crispy bottom and chewy pizza. I used the pizza peel to slide the pizza on and off the stone to avoid getting burned. Make sure you put corn meal on the stone just before you are ready to slide your pizza on. What a great way to make pizza in the summertime without heating up the kitchen.
