our sleepytime standard
I am here to buy this CD again because we have used it for 4 years almost daily and I just sat on it and cracked it! We have many other bedtime CD's but this one is the best for getting the kids to really calm down and sleep. The music is slow and dreamy. With my first child, we had this but didn't use it. It was too simple for her. She preferred World Music for Little Ears (a great collection). When number two came along, the World Music CD was too stimulating. Cradle Classics is what we settled on to get him calmed down and sleeping and now both my kids fall asleep listening to this. Here and there, we use another CD, but this is the one we always go back to as the real sleepytime CD. So, if you want something solid, predictable, slow without surprises for a kid that gets easily overstimulated at bedtime--this is a great CD.

Baby's dream
This is by far the best CD for sleepytime music. I used it with both of my children and they still listen to it. It makes a great gift for new moms.

Sleep Music
We also received this as a gift, and when we were trying to transition our daughter into her crib at 3 months, we used this CD. She is now 2 1/2 and listens to this every time she sleeps. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone with a small child. We are going to buy another one for baby #2.
