Customer Reviews
Don't listen to that guy!
He obviously does not know that sugar is in all formula and in all milk. The fact that the sugar in Organic Similac is from cane sugar and not corn syrup makes a world of difference. By feeding your child Organic milk you are keeping the fertilizers, pesticides, and antibiotics out of your child. FYI, ingredients in fertilizers and pesticides which are transferred to regular milk cows through eating the grass and in turn consummed by your child are CARCINOGENS. More importantly, your child will not ingest the antibiotics given to regular cows which lowers the affectiveness of antibiotics given to your child when he or she needs them.
Great product!
I have done a ton of research on all organic formulas and have to say that this one,for my child, was the best. The first ingredient is Organic Milk, which means that it make up most of the product. The Organic sugar, from evaporated cane juice, happens to be the fourth ingredient. Most other organic brand name and organic private label organic formulas usually have lactose (milk sugar) as the first ingredient and the essential oils the second and the organic milk the third or fourth. That is what made the difference to me. For all of those freaking out about the sugar, you shouldn't. Organic lactose is sugar as well. Nutritionally speaking they are the same. The evaporated cane juice may digest slightly slower because it isn't processed as much but both are simple sugars...Remember too that all babies are different! Mine did great with this one but others have complained about constipation. That doesn't mean that this isn't a great product it just means that this product didn't work for them. It is worth a try. If your baby likes it, it is great choice for formula users. Good luck.
Convenient and healthy
We switched from the regular Similac to Organic after reading research about harmful affects of bovine hormones on growing bodies. The price on the multipack is the same as the store, but the convenience of having it delivered to our home is great. It's nice to know that we always have more on hand and don't have to worry about running out any time soon.
