Product Description

Though no one knows for sure how to prevent sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), current sleep recommendations advise parents to put babies on their back to sleep. Halo Innovations founder William Schmid lost a daughter to SIDS in 1991 and is now devoted to creating products that encourage healthier sleeping environments for babies. The Halo SleepSack is a wearable blanket, that eliminates the hazards of loose blankets, which can bunch up and cover an infant's mouth. Sleeveless and collarless, the SleepSack wearable blanket is easy to slip on a sleeping or wide-awake child. Unlike blankets, it can't be kicked off, so your baby stays warm all night -- and breathable fleece absorbs moisture, preventing overheating. A top-to-bottom zipper eliminates neck pinching and makes it harder for an older child to unzip and disrobe.

Cute, Snuggly, No loose blankets in the crib5
I got this when our little girl started sleeping in the crib and outgrew her swaddlers. It's the perfect solution if you are concerned about having loose blankets in the crib. She is about 8 months now and we bought it when she was 5 months, it still fits well, allows her room to roll around but doesn't get tangled around her and keeps her nice and warm. Definitely recommend this product and will buy it again.

Wearable blankets are great idea for baby!5
The applique barnyard print is adorable and we are glad we purchased it. A few things about the product:

Although Micro-Fleece is a breathable fabric, I still have to watch baby to make sure she does not get too warm in this. So long as you're conscientious, it can be a great item for winter nights.

One nice advantage about the Micro-Fleece is that when baby spits up after feeding, the Micro-Fleece doesn't seem to allow her sleeper underneath to get damp (whereas the cotton sleep sack keeps a wet spot longer and also gets the sleeper she's wearing damp too). Just a small thing, but it was worth mentioning.

For more details about the product and more views of the product pictures, I checked out the manufacturer's website. That was very helpful.

so cute5
I love the sleep sacks. They give me piece of mind. My 5-month-old stays warm all night, and there is no risk of smothering. I plan to use these up into her toddler years. I don't believe they make them bigger than that. This one is so cute!! Most that I have seen are plain. I love the little characters at the bottom, and the green is a nice soft baby green. This sleep sack is fleece.
