Customer Reviews

perfect for washing lambskin5
I have a lambskin that was starting to look a little dingy. I went online for advice on how to launder it, and the general consensus of what I found is to wash it in cool water with a specially formulated wool wash, and then use a wire brush to comb it out before letting it airdry. I went with the Kookaburra Woolwash on the Amazon website because it was less expensive than the other woolwashes I found online. I am so happy to say that the lambskin came out of the wash looking gorgeous, clean, and fluffy! I didn't have to brush it out or do anything special to it. I just hung it to dry. The skin itself is still soft and supple.

Nice, but Nuthin Special4
Good, pure ingredients, but i had two sheepskins and washed one in Kookaburra and the other in Dr bronner's (tea tree oil) and couldnt tell the difference.

A GREAT PRODUCT WITH A WONDERFUL SMELL!5
KOOKABURRA WOOLWASH IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER DETERGENTS. RINSING IS OPTIONAL, UNLIKE OTHER SOAPS, THOUGH WHEN WE USE THIS PRODUCT ON OUR HANDKNITS WE WASH WITH CHEAPO BABY SHAMPOO FIRST, THEN DO A RINSE FREE SOAK WITH THE WOOLWASH. IT ISN'T AS IF YOU WOULD NEED TO, THOUGH, BECAUSE IT'S GREAT ON ITS OWN.
BUT WHAT IS TRULY WONDERFUL ABOUT THIS PRODUCT IS A DIVINELY CLEAN AND FRESH SCENT IT LEAVES ON YOUR FABRICS.
KOOKABURRA WOOLWASH IS ALSO AFFORDABLE AND A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY.
THE BOTTOMLINE IS THAT IF YOU WANT TO CLEAN YOUR FABRICS AND HAND KNITTED ITEMS AND LEAVE THEM WITH A HEAVENLY CLEAN SCENT, BUY THIS PRODUCT...IT'S WORTH IT.
