About the Artist
Jim Valley has been touted as an International Pied Piper whose songs have helped children all over the world open up and express themselves through music and movement. Since 1980, Jim has worked with elementary school children in his Rainbow Planet Workshop designed to foster creativity, friendship, and self esteem.
Jim's work in schools began when he was invited by an administrator to conduct a Friendship Workshop in a troubled school, and to write a song that would help children learn to get along. The song became "Rainbow Planet." The workshop was so successful that Jim was soon traveling to schools throughout Washington state. He now travels internationally presenting workshops and concerts to children, teachers and families.
Jim is a Parents' Choice Award winner, and has produced five family albums, as well as an album for "grown-ups" released in 2002. Jim is also remembered as Harpo of the famous 60's rock group, Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Great songs
Jim Valley performed often at our school when I was a teacher and I love his music.
