no batteries, no cheap plastic bits -- great for calming baby down when fussy and stores completely flat. At around 7 months, he was able to make it bounce himself. He's unfotunately outgrown it now.

more "bells and whistles" than you probably need, but it's attractive, uses a power cord (most swings require batteries that need to be changed frequently), and you can use it with your Graco car seat (and maybe other brands, I'm not sure) It also swings differently than any other swing, so you might try it if your baby doesn't like the other swings.

My research indicated that this was, far and away, the best baby tub. All one piece. No fabric that can get mildewy. It's big, but that's because it's intended to be used from newborn to toddler. One side keeps your newborn safely in place, the other side allows your toddler to sit up in the tub. Unless you have limited space, this is the tub you should get.

Great to have, whether you're breastfeeding or not. Use it to prop up baby, especially for bottle feeding. And my favorite thing about it is all the cute covers you can get for it, which are machine washable.

This is the car seat we use. I chose it because it had some of the highest ratings and is usable up to 30 pounds. The only downside is that it's probably one of the heaviest car seats, so you'd better be in good shape if you want to carry it around!

Awesome, full-coverage bib. We've got 3 of them now so there's always at least one clean one.

Another must-have.

No blankets allowed in baby's bed, this is a great alternative. We've got several of these.

He loved this. I switched the toys up now and then, to add variety, and sometimes sat him by the toys in his Bumbo chair for a different perspective. After 6 months, you're supposed to remove the arch. It's now mostly pointless. Had a good run with this thing, though, and I'd recommend it for babies under 6 months.

Colorful multitextural toy. You can also hang it from things, like the play mat.

We found the carrot in a store the other day and my baby inexplicably took to it and loves to wave it around, chew it, suck it, etc. Never too early to teach healthy eating habits! ;-)

Keeps him occupied for a while and he likes the song it plays (although he hasn't figured out how to make it play himself yet).

We've tried several brands and have settled on these. No leaks so far. Unscented. And, of course, Winnie the Pooh.

We tried a few different sippies. This is the only one he liked. The others were kinda big. This is the perfect small size for a starter sippy. Also, the ones with soft spouts freaked him out because he thought it was gonna be a bottle, but it wasn't. Now he's able to lift it and drink from it by himself!
