Although they are expensive,you will use these every few days and you don't want to mess around with cheap pairs or those that come in hygiene kits. In fact, don't even bother with the hygeine kits, you can always pick up a cute and inexpensive baby brush and the only other useful item is a nasal aspirator which you get free at the hospital after delivery.

We would just lay out a waterproof pad and bathe our little one in the comfort of the living room. This particular bath is nice because of the shower head and jacuzzi bubbles.

There aren't too many good bath books out there, but this one and Elmo's Tub Time Rhyme are still little one's favorites.

These are so handy and so much more efficient than regular blankets that come apart easier. You probably only want to ask for small and medium since they usually don't like to be swaddled much longer after that.

Do some research on a specific brand of sleep positioner (I can't remember which one we had), but it worked wonders for our little one to keep him comfortably on his back while alieviating acid reflux.

We used this one and it was really nice but look into other carriers and try them out. There are some wonderful cotton ones that wrap around your body and allow you to carry your little one on your back and hip as well.
