The best birthday gift my son has ever received!
I had never heard of ExoBonz before my son's 3rd birthday. He received the Starter Exobonz Tropical Set. It has been his favorite toy for the past year. I already bought him another, DragonBonz, for his 4th birthday. They make many different kinds. He creates the most unusual creatures from the parts. And the different pieces from all their Bonz will fit together. It really allows him to get creative & helps tune his fine motor skills. He absolutely loves this toy! And I love watching him play with something slightly educational. In the past year, 2 of the joints have broken. But it doesn't enable you to still use the parts. I am still looking to buy SeaBonz. And possibly the SkyBonz because it allows you to turn your their creation into a hanging mobile. Very cool stuff.
Overall, a very good, imaginative toy for your child. Go to the curious toys website to see them all.
Fun, But Deceptive
My daughter got this for her birthday and loves it, but she and myself are very frustrated by it because she wants me to help her make the bugs on the box, however, the bugs on the box cannot be made with the pieces that come with the set because the pieces described and pictured on the box have holes in different places than the actual pieces so what we make doesn't even come close. Also, first time playing with it one of joints broke in two and could not even be repaired with super glue. It's a shame because this seems like a good toy.
