Customer Reviews

functional and beautiful5
This chair has everything. We bought fresco when it first came out (year or so ago) because we loved the look for our kitchen, and we are still loving it.

Our little girl was only 3 months old and we used the recline mode at first - this worked even better than the rockers we had been given. We switched her to highchair setup a few months later and we cant keep her out of it - of course the up/down and full rotate doesnt hurt!

At first we used the trays provided which were great, but after speaking to a few friends who had also gone for the fresco, started using the highchair right up at the table without the trays and haven't switched back - she loves eating like mum and dad.

Apparently theres also a counter top version - damn it, I would have gone for that had I known!!!

IMPRACTICAL, HUGE WASTE OF MONEY1
I was so disappointed in this chair. I had very high hopes for it after reading great reviews and seeing how beautiful it was. Unfortunately, it is a functional disaster. Other than its good looks, I cannot think of a single thing I like about this chair. It is impossible to clean, difficult to move, uncomfortable for the baby, the trays are extremely difficult to remove, and the hydraulics for raising and lowering the chair worked for about a week. Worst of all, when we were finally ready to get rid of it and hoped to sell it online or to a friend, it smelled SO BAD from our attempts to clean out the tiny spaces, screw holes, and other unnecessary food and water traps which had gotten wet. So many times during the use (and disposal) of the chair, I asked myself "WHY WOULD ANYONE DESIGN THIS FOR A BABY??" I finally bought a $35 "Safety 1st" booster seat/high chair and LOVE IT. For about $400 less, it does everything a baby chair should.
Do not buy the Bloom Fresco chair!!!

great looks, but cleaning is a chore3
We bought this high chair because it has the best looks for our home. the Pros: looks great, nice swivel base and height adjustment, actually has 2 trays-very cool, and the recline allowed us to have baby join the meal at a very young age. The Cons: not great to clean! There are more than a few big seams and joints that get crusted with food every meal, the booster portion allows crumbs to fall inside- that was a disgusting discovery since u have to partially dismantle it to find out, and the seat cushion looks neat, but has to be scrubbed like crazy and still stains are left behind! The straps were kinda weird, too.
We wonder if the designers had kids of their own....
