Cuter in person!
I'm almost embarassed to say that in my search for the "perfect" diaper bag, I actually ordered 7 different bags...and returned all but this one. It's a lot cuter in person than online. My favorite feature is that it is very lightweight and easy to carry. The strap adjusts so you can wear it over one shoulder like a purse on the shortest setting or across your body messenger style. The inside is a light tan color making it easy to find your items. It is "wipe-clean" inside and out. The 5 internal pockets, 2 external pockets, and 2 side zip insulated bottle pockets keep everything organized. It also has a large pocket on the back to store the changing pad. This bag is very comfortable to carry. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is on the smaller side and mine didn't come with stroller straps. I do wish it was a bit larger, but other than that, it's perfect! Funny thing is that it was the least expensive of all the bags I ordered, too. Lucky me!

Well organized, lightweight...but smells like a shower curtain
I would give the Amanda an A+ for organization, an A for aesthetically pleasing shape and structure, a B+ for comfort, and a D- for smell. The exterior pockets are useful - one large back pocket for the changing pad (or your mom stuff), 2 smaller front pockets, and multiple interior pockets for diapers, wipes, cell phone, etc... There are two handy side bottle/sippy pockets too, you can also use them to store small snacks or spare onesies/baby socks/bibs. The Twist print is modern and gender neutral, and does not scream diaper bag. The interior is light tan so you don't suffer the dreaded diaper bag black hole. And it is super light too, a big plus. I do wish the strap was a bit wider and/or padded - when bag is loaded, the strap can cut into your shoulder. But for me, the biggest minus was actually the smell. When I took it out of the box, I noticed a VERY heavy vinyl smell. Sort of like cheap shower curtains you'd get at a discount drugstore. Just overpowering. I remedied by letting it "breathe" (outgas) in our sunroom for a few days (windows ajar). Not a smell you'd want your newborn near, so if you get this bag, allow a few days for outgassing away from your child. I did not expect such a strong smell since another Storksak bag I had (Babymel is a sister company of Storksak) had no smell when I received it. I guess it is the print - by the way, the print is painted on, not part of the fabric. A good buy though, at half the price of Storksak bags.

Finally, a great diaper bag!
I have also been on the quest for the perfect diaper bag for the right price. After months of searching, and buying and returning, I happened upon this bag. I liked what I read and what I saw and decided to go for it. I received the bag a day earlier than expected (yay!!) and was delighted with what I saw! The print is adorable! It does look like the print is painted on the vinyl, but it is not easily scratched off, as was previously implied. Also, I didn't encounter any strong vinyl smell when I first got my bag. In fact, within minutes, my daughter and I were playing around with it on our heads. There are tons of pockets inside and out! It is a bit on the smaller side compared to the other bags I have tried out, but with the many pockets, I don't ever feel like I am overstuffing. Everything has its place. The contrasting interior color makes it easy to find what you need in the bottom of the bag as well. I love love LOVE the double bottle side pockets, which is another thing to keep out of the main compartment. I haven't tried out the "Patent Pending Stroller Straps" yet, but they seem like they'll work great. If not, the main strap shortens enough that you can just hang that of the stroller handlebar. But my favorite part is that IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A DIAPER BAG!!! Finally!! This is a bag I can absolutely see myself using long after my daughter is out of diapers. It's very well made and durable and you can spot clean both the inside and outside with a damp cloth. The "mommy pockets" on the outside are great with a cute pleating detail and pockets inside of the pockets for things like lipgloss, cellphone and keys. I would definitely recommend this bag to my girlfriends and any other new mommies.
