Loud and grainy
I thought this would be a great travel toy because it is small in size and is also somewhat educational. However, there is no volume control - and it seems quite loud. Additionally, it doesn't work correctly. You are supposed to shake the Why Writer to change the options, however this has never worked since it was taken out of the package. It was not purchased through this site, but on [...], so I am not commenting on the seller listed here. Our toddler still loves the "zap" noise that it makes, but we are ready to turn it off after 30 seconds b/c of the noise.
