Simply take this gate out of the box, tighten the tension knobs and this gate is installed. It offers a super easy pressure mount installation which requires no tools. Gate swings both ways and offers a triple-locking system for added security. You will find this natural colored hardwood gate will look great at the bottom of a stairs or between any rooms. This gate stands 29" high and fits openings from 28" to 41.5" with two included extensions. For larger openings up to 48", two more extensions may be added which is not included. Nice gate!
This is a pretty gate and the quality is good. I like that it opens easily, in both directions. It keeps my four dogs and two cats where I want them. The only suggestion I would make is that it would be nice if the gate would stay open when you want it to. We use a bungy cord, which works OK.

Great gate! Easy to install, made nicely, works well, sturdy. Only thing is because it is for children also, it is hard to open. You have to twist and lift up to open using 2 hands and strength. Not a gate if you want toddlers, young children or elderly to be able to open.

Works well, looks good.
We've been using two of these for about two months now and they work quite well. It's not an easy task getting them properly adjusted for the initial set-up, and they do require adjusting from time to time, but in comparison to pretty much any of the others we've seen or tried, this is the best by a wide margin. I really like that you can adjust the gate to swing in either direction or to swing freely when grown-ups need to make a lot of trips back and forth and want to get through easily. The one-hand operation is easy to master and the real wood and sturdy hardware look much nicer than most other aluminum powder-coated models. Recommended.
