Amazon.com Product Description
From the Water Sports Collection, Stührling Original’s new Regatta Series has spawned a new entry…The Clipper. Big, bold and masculine, The Clipper represents Stührling Original’s best version of an everyday timepiece from the "diver category." Powered by a Swiss quartz engine presenting a straightforward three hand movement with a quickset date, a large resilient Krysterna™ crystal, and housed within a solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel case, this Clipper provides reliability, durability and affordability. The radiant dial with its luminous markers and sport style hands, and the cyclops for the date magnification sitting atop the Krysterna™ crystal at the three o’clock position underscores the Clipper theme of simplicity and sophistication. The unidirectional twelve sided ratcheting bezel showing a color coordinated chapter ring provides a stylish frame and complements the aim of the series. The customary triangular marker for the zero position features a luminous dot for a little extra readability in the dark. The sizeable case measures 46½ millimeters across including the crown, and 50½ millimeters from top to bottom including the lugs. The screw-down knurled edge crown protected with guard rails on the case allows for water resistance to 330 feet. Integrated to the case is the heavy and solid 316L stainless steel link bracelet which is 22 millimeters wide at the lug area and brilliantly tapers down to 18½mm at the clasp. The triple row link bracelet with the outside rows of links sporting a brushed satin finish contrasting beautifully with the larger center row being treated with a high polish makes a seamless complement for the case which has a satin finish on top while presenting polished sides! The bracelet is completed expertly with a stainless steel deployant clasp featuring a safety lock emblazoned with the Stührling signed logo. The screwed in case-back is decorated brilliantly to complement the water theme and is finished appropriately with the Stührling signature logo.

Customer Reviews
Don't expect too much!
The watch is probably worth slightly less than I paid for it. From a looks standpoint, it is not too bad. If you are a collector of fine watches and want just a knock around watch, steer clear. The first watch that was sent, the face did not line up with the hands. Amazon was great and quickly sent a replacement. After accepting the replacement, I got the watch band sized (officially mine now) and was surprised as to how cheap the band was, not to mention that with all the links removed, it still fits a little loosely on my wrist (and I do not have a small wrist). Additionally, when the crown is unscrewed, it does not seem solid when setting the time/date. Since it came with the free hat, I suppose I came out o.k. Surprisingly, when I registered with Stuhrling, they read my review and contacted me. Unfortunately, since I had worn the watch (I thought it was mine regardless) any scratch voids a possible return unless the product is defective. I doubt this is the case. I think the watch is just cheap.
