I only have the advanced tape, and I quite like it. The cardio portion is pretty good, and you work up a sweat. Having some background in taebo or kickboxing will help. While I like the cardio, I LOVE the toning part. The moves aren't tricky or anything, but he does a lot of reps and after doing cardio with him, it's killer.

Cathe gives clear directions and has the right amount of non-annoying cheeriness. This is great for beginners, but if you're at a higher level though, you can easily increase the intensity of your workout by increasing your step height or doing the workout with ankle weights. This workout is also included on Friedrich's "Body Fusion" DVD.

This is a great dvd with lots of options and premixes to choose from. Boot Camp consists of 8 cycles of cardio, upper, lower, and abs. 1 minute each. Sounds easy but they're pretty rough! Muscle Endurance is all toning, and even more challenging than the toning in Boot Camp. 2 workouts + the different options to customize your workout = good deal!

I've been teaching Pilates for almost two years now and this is the first truly traditional/classical dvd I've come across, and it's excellent for all levels. Has Modified Basic, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Super Advanced sections. Short but very challenging.

Yoga was relaxing, pilates was challenging, except for the weight-lifting part - but as a personal preference I don't like using weights with pilates. Also, the yoga section comes 1st and THEN pilates. Also a preference, but I like to reverse them b/c I like yoga to be the last workout I do.

non-traditional, cardio-ish, yoga workout in the 1stt part. Sequence: sun salutation, pose, add moves to the pose to burn more, hold pose, repeat cycle with a new pose. The 2nd part is a little more traditional yoga. I never do the 3rd part (core toning) because it's OK.

Not too bad. I actually like it for the most part - the only thing that was annoying was during some of the vinyasas, she moves REALLY quickly (ex: switching back and forth between reverse warrior and side angle) and it feels rather awkward..but it doesn't dominate the workout. I think it's a good buy if you're looking to mix up your workouts a little.

For the price, it's pretty good. Geri (Ginger Spice!) doesn't actually instruct (Katy Appleton does) but she's in the back demonstrating. Let it be known though that she'll randomly start talking, usually to add on to Katy, and sometimes make slightly inappropriate comments. But in any case, it's a good yoga dvd. You strengthen, you stretch, and if you pay Geri no mind, you relax.
