HOW DOES IT WORK? Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone, produced by the developing placenta shortly after the conception and secreted into the urine. The pregnancy test contains antibodies which specifically react with this hormone. HOW TO READ THE RESULTS Negative (not pregnant): Only one color band appears, in the Control Zone. No apparent band on the Test Zone. This indicates that no pregnancy has been detected. Positive (pregnant): Distinct color bands appear in the Control and Test Zones. It indicates that you are pregnant. The color intensity of the test bands may vary since different stages of pregnancy have different concentrations of HCG hormone.

Anyone want 8 pregnancy tests?

Just a warning to everyone buying this: this isn't the pee-on-a-stick type of pregnancy test. It's the same thing, but without the stick applicator, so it is much smaller and you can't just urinate directly on it. You have to pee in a little cup (1/4-1/2 inch deep) and sit the stick in the urine. It works great, though, so don't be discouraged by the additional step of peeing in a cup.

One review said they hadn't received the item - I ordered it anyway and received it almost instantly. I haven't used them yet but this type tends to be perfectly accurate and WAY cheaper than more fancy types. I'm a bit of a freak about trying to detect pregnancy 7-10 days past conception and this type of test has done the trick. :-)

Simple, cheap, easy to use. Much better when ttc than spending 10 bucks for 1 at the drugstore. Would recommend.
