Also good as an in-room bassinet before you move the baby to their own room. There are versions that come with extra options like a changing station, etc. You don't need them. We NEVER used the changing station. Be sure to get/register for 2 or 3 Pack and Play sheets, too.

Buy new: $89.00 Once you get this, go to the Fisher Price website and go to Replacement Parts and get 4 more tray inserts. The inserts are dishwasher safe and are worth the time-saver. By the time all five are int he dishwasher, it is usually time for us to run it anyway. You may want to get one extra set of straps, since they are also dishwasher safe (great to sanitize).

We have one of these and it is in my car, where she is most often. It is convertible and thus can accommodate an infant rear-facing and be converted to forward-facing when you and the baby are ready. Due to the high cost, you don't need one of these for every car.
