helped my wife a lot4
we bought this and 2 other related books to help my wife with her employee performance reviews. before i use to just help her out but since her team grew and our schedules were just to hectic, i didn't have time to help her out. so this and the two other related books helped a lot.

This is a very helpful book when you need to write your own perfomance objectives. It is also useful if you are a manger writing objectives for your staff.

Not What I thought it would be3
For some strange reason I thought that this would be more objectively based (measurements etc) giving examples of how to set SMART goals. But the Goals are very subjective, many Motherhood and apple pie, but they probabaly work well with the Companion book on performance review Phrases. I would have thought a better title would have been Setting performance objectives. An onbjective to my mind is something like. Improve your Quality", the goal should be something like 1 defect per 500 opportunities (Not six sigma I know!)
