Major Taylor
Major Taylor was the 1899 world champion bicycle racer from Worcester, MA who overcame racial prejudice to become the first internationally acclaimed African-American sports star. He's a hero to us and serves as the focus and raison d'etre of the Major Taylor Association, one of the Official Charities of AdventureCORPS, Inc. We encourage you to learn about this amazing man and his inspiring and still relevant life story!
