Customer Reviews
can't bring myself to buy a dyson
was on the lookout for a new vacuum.Read all the reviews and the dyson sounded really good (despite the consumer guide report). However, could NOT bring myself to shell out $500 for a vacuum cleaner. Just seemed too extravagant for a household item that will sit in the closet for majority of the time. Found this by chance and decided to give it a try. Sanyo was a reliable brand. $90 bucks is reasonable, figure I could probably not go through 6 of them in my lifetime ($90 x 6 = 1 dyson). Was wonderfully surprised.Cleans well, not too noisy, no-smell thing actually works and dust cup easy to dispose of.Definitely recommended.Have had it for 4 mos, no complaints so far.
Amazing Suction
I recently received my Sanyo SC-F1201 DirtHunter. Putting it together was no effort. Upon using it and vacuuming my living room I was very impressed how much dirt was being sucked up. I couldn't help myself and vacuumed the living room again and more dirt came up. It's unbelievable how well this vacuum works and there's no odor in the air!
I didn't like how heavy this vacuum is, and I thought my shoulder would be tender after pushing it around the various rooms. Taking it up the stair was quite an effort. Sanyo should consider shaving off 3-5 pounds!
But, the Dirthunter's virtues outweigh the negative factors.
Pleasantly suprised!
I wasn't sure how this vacuum would work because I didn't know Sanyo even made vacuums. It is magnificent! The first night I used it, I ran it over my already-clean house and it picked up an entire canister of extra dirt. This is a must-have for pet owners (expecially if someone in the house has allergies) because almost half of that dirt was cat hair that my other vacuum didn't pick up. I didn't realize there was so much cat hair in my house. The only complaints I have about it are 1) it's a little heavy and 2) one of my attachments comes out of its holder sometimes. Overall, an A+!
