Average customer review:Product Description
This exhaustive history presents the entire Mercedes-Benz heritage from Benz and Daimlers separate ventures through their 1926 merger and the 1999 deal that created DaimlerChrysler. Dennis Adlers masterful photos depict classics like the behemoth 7.6-liter 770 Grosser introduced in 1930, the legendary gullwing 300SL, and 1998s supercharged SLK230, to name but a few. Along the way, readers witness an incredible racing heritage that encompasses drivers from Fangio to Moss to Hakkinen, wartime activities, and a succession of design exercises and trendsetting cars unrivaled in the history of the automobile.

Customer Reviews
Useless
I bought this book to learn more about the vintage Mercedes cars that are out there, as I am considering the purchase of one. Not only is the writing boring and the pictures blurry and faded, the author has also decided to skip some of the most important models manufactured by Mercedes over the years. Where is the w123, for example?
After the beautiful Vespa book I bought, this volume just doesn't do it for me. Save your money and buy a Mercedes book with great reviews.
Mercedes Benz book
The book arrived in poor condition. The cover had a tear in it and it appeared to have been thoroughly thumbed through. I returned the book for a refund.
