From the Publisher
An immensely popular book since its first release in December of 2000. The Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating and More, is distinguished by the fact that it accepts no restaurant advertising and reviews each of the recommended establishments strictly on merit.

The book is conveniently divided into the three major areas of Los Cabos: Cabo San Lucas, The Corridor and San Jose del Cabo and also incudes information on the nearby areas of Todos Santos and the East Cape.

The authors re-visit all the establishments in the book many times throughout the year and continually re-evaluate their recommendations

From the Author
We wrote this book because we were constantly being asked by visitors "Where should we eat?" In 1999 we began handing out lists of our favorites. People were so pleased with our recommendations that we began getting more requests for the list than we could handle. It became so time consuming we decided to write this guide instead.

Los Cabos boasts almost 400 eating establishments, ranging from inexpensive taco stands to 5 star restaurants. This book was designed to help wade through the mystery of the standard magazine and newspaper ads and answer the questions about where, when and how much. Our criteria for being listed in the book is that each of the places we recommend has to have something special about it. Something that makes you want to go back time and time again.

A must resource for a Cabo Trip5
After returning from a first time trip to Cabo I was patting myself on the back for investing in this great resource. I really needed a guide to walk me through the predicted array of wonderful to horrible restaurants of the region. Fortunately I had stumbled upon the "Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating" ensuring a well fed vacation. I've travelled around frequently and tend to have a diverse and picky palate, and I have to say that every place I tried based on the book was as good or better in terms of food quality than the review contained in the book.
Please note that the prices in Cabo have gone up considerably lately, but this new addition seems to fix the descrepancies. (note that I used the previous edition while in Cabo.) FYI, it's hard to find a meal at one of the upper end restaurants that doesn't cost even more than it would at home! Fortunately the authors provide many less expensive eateries for those nights that you want something simple...but some of those more expensive places are well worth the splurge...(like the French Riviera...)
If you're going to Cabo and you don't like eating bad expensive food, buy this book today!

Yum!5
This guide provides great info on the best places to eat in Los Cabos. You'll know where to go, what to expect, and find some amazing restaurants you won't find otherwise. We've been to Cabo several times before, but this guide really helped make our last trip special. The second edition has tons of new restaurants and information. Definitely worth purchasing.

Excellent Resource! Great Recommendations! A+++5
This guide was a godsend! With so many restaurants in and around Cabo you never know what to expect or who will rip you off. We followed the guide for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even recommended places to fellow travelers and everyone loved it. The descriptions are great and you know what you're getting into: type of food served, atmosphere, price, family friendly, etc., so it makes it easy to choose the right spot. The little update insert is great (everyone knows restaurants come and go) and with it you know what the locals know in finding good eats!

I love the in-town restaurants that we found in the guide but the out of the way places were truly fabulous and fun - a little adventure and great food makes for lasting memories. We went to an out of the way restaurant called Buzzard's that was right on the beach, the food was great and affordable and they had large bird cages filled with parrots. We ate, played on the beach and watched the sunset - it was beautiful! This last trip to Cabo outshined our others and a big part of it was great dining experiences thanks to the Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating and More!
