Naruto is a ninja-in-training with a need for attention, a knack for mischief and, sealed within him, a strange, formidable power. His antics amuse his instructor Kakashi and irritate his teammates, intense Sasuke and witty Sakura, but Naruto is serious about becoming the greatest ninja in the village of Konohagakure!
Reads R to L (Japanese Style). Naruto must decipher the cryptic last words of his beloved mentor. What did Jiraiya find out about the leader of the Akatsuki that was so important he had to hide it in code? And can Naruto stand a fighting chance against those who managed to take down one of the Three Great Shinobi?

About the Author
Author/artist Masashi Kishimoto was born in 1974 in rural Okayama Prefecture, Japan. After spending time in art college, he won the Hop Step Award for new manga artists with his manga Karakuri ("Mechanism"). Kishimoto decided to base his next story on traditional Japanese culture. His first version of Naruto, drawn in 1997, was a one-shot story about fox spirits; his final version, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, quickly became the most popular ninja manga in Japan.

Spoilers alert
The battle between Eight Tails and Team Taka concludes and an even grander battle is about to take place on
the streets of Konoha. The self proclaimed Akatsuki leader and former student of the late Jirayia has come to
the Hidden Leaf Village to unleash a pain they will never forget. Will Naruto finish his training at Myobokun
Mountain in time to save Konohagure from the dreaded and powerful Six Paths of Pain? Read Volume 45 and find out!
This is a great volume. Sasuke vs Killerbee is quick but full of action. Also the twist after the end of the fight
leaves room for debate. Was it an accident or was Tobi had? You have to read the volume to find out what I'm talking about. The Raikage himself doesn't actually seem that interesting since he seems like the typical brute strength no brains type character. But I like the characters of Omoi and Karui. Is it just me or do they seem like the Naruto and Sakura of the Hidden Cloud Village? Of course the biggest part of this volume is Pain's entrance into Konoha. I think it's cool how Pain couldn't just walk into the village like Itachi did and explaining why Itachi was able to. There's a bit foreshadowing with Danzo here. Slowly but surely we are realizing why he is the leader of The Foundation. Keep an eye out for this guy. But in the meanwhile the Pain fight is getting off to a good start despite the fact that only six of him makes the elite of Konoha look weak. Oh well. Can't complain too much when the comic is called "Naruto" and not "Konoha". Once again, Iruka proves
himself to be even more useless than Ino. It amazes me how he gets in the top of the popularity polls from Japan.
I suspect they are rigged but without proof I'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Speaking of that
when are they ever going to have the next poll? They are due for one that's for sure. Anywho sorry for losing
track. We get to see even more of the Six Pains' abilities that were just "previewed" in the Jirayia vs Pain fight in Volumes 41-42. Naruto's Sage Training is alright but I found his training in 35 and 36 more interesting
as it didn't seem as much of a power-up and a "you must believe in your inner power" type nonsense.
It's a good volume and yet just a snippet of what's to come. Can't wait until they animate it.
NEWEST NARUTO
This new installment of the ever so popular naruto is the best so far in shippunden. I get boners thinking about it. The new arc is getting better when naruto is about to battle his HARDEST enemy yet. The drama is boner inducing, good luck naruto and keep a STIFF upper lip.
