An Updated Version of Classic Betty Crocker
I own the 1963 version of the Betty Crocker Cookie Cookbook. It has all the classic recipes. This newer version has a lot of the classics but also a lot of new and trendy items--like cappucino flavors and biscotti. There's recipes for amazing bar cookies. Some of the recipes utilize newer ingredients that weren't around in 1963. With this book, you can make cookies that are a little different and more up to date. If you're looking for a classic, those recipes are there too.

Betty Crocker Cookie Book
This book is ok but nothing like the original 1963 version. There weren't enough pictures of the cookies but the printing was fine. When I make cookies or any other food I want to be enticed with a beautiful and mouth watering picture to make me want to make the item. I'll probably stick to my old favorite 1963 Cooky Book.

A great selection of recipes. I like the directions and the layout of the book.
