Everything you need to get started- except the camera, housing, etc...5
I've been playing around with underwater photography for a couple of years, with mixed results. This book is detailed, but succinct enough to give you the essential information to get started. It's written in clear straightfoward language that beginners can understand, with enough in depth information to satisfy the techies. Most other books on underwater photography focus on film and are somewhat dated- not this book- it's focus is digital photography, with a passing nod to film.
I read this book just before taking a dive trip to Maui, and found the information extremely helpful. I highly recommend it!

Perfect for my needs5
This book is great for someone who already has a solid background in digital photography and just wants to take that skill to another level with underwater photography. The book is valuable to both the amature and the professional photographer, and it discusses both digital point and shoot, and DSLR cameras. It answered all my questions and got me going in the right direction. Highly recommend this book.

Underwater photography book2
Very disappointing. I was hoping for a more informative book. This was pretty basic photography. The previous reviews were misleading for me. This was a waste of money.
