you mount it under the counter, just like at a bar... for Christ's sake the people on here.

Wall mounted bottle opener?
First mistake, I didn't read these comments. This is NOT a wall mount opener. Mounted to a verticle surface this opener will place the bottle around 7 degrees from horizontal. In other words, pretty close to being level. Liquid will spill out, can't be avoided. Normal or correct wall mounted openers put the bottle at around 45 - 50 degrees from horizontal. If you plan on mounting it to a horizontal surface, like under a cabinet, then it should work fine. I plan on mounting it to the bumper of my travel trailer so spillage isn't a concern. Never can find a opener when camping.

"Wall mounted" does not mean "Under-the-shelf mounted"
It works great when it's mounted to the bottom of a shelf, the way it's supposed to be. The thing is, when I see "wall mounted bottle opener" I expect to be able to mount it on a freakin wall. Fortunately we have a spot to put it that works just fine but for Christ sake, why don't they say "under-shelf mounted bottle opener?"
