Beautiful crib
This is a beautiful crib. It is very sturdy and wasn't that hard to put together. The only challenge we had was with the directions. They are shipped in a pocket on the warning label. We thought that perhaps the instructions had not been included in the shipment, but after googling the crib discovered where they were hidden.
I'm a little worried about the plastic mechanism that controls the drop front. We will have to see how that holds up over time.
Other than that, this is a very quality piece of furniture and I love it!

Manufacturing issues.
I was so excited when the crib finally came. It's so beautiful! It took me so long to finally decide on a crib. My daughter is a year now and it's time to get her in a crib. I really wanted one that would turn into a beautiful headboard for my daughter one day. Most of them still looked like cribs after transitioning it. So I was excited to find a Bassettbaby crib for such a low price. When we got the crib the box was very beat up. We got all the pieces in the room and proceeded to exam in it for any damage. There was no shipping damage to our surprise. But on every piece of wood there were scratches with a bunch of pinholes all around each one. With the stained over them. So the marks were there before they even stained it. The head board had 4 different marks, all very noticeable. This is the crib I want, there is no other like it in its price range. So we are in the process of returning it. I have read so many good reviews, so I'm hoping that we just got unlucky this time. I gave the crib three stars. Minus the scratches, the crib is a VERY beautiful and sturdy wood. I also loved that it came with two wood pegs for the top holes in the headboard. Not many do.

Just right
For the money you can't beat it. If we had a lot of extra money we would have gotten something nicer but this is just fine. A little tricky to put together at first but if you keep at it you'll get it
