Customer Reviews

Nice heavy duty cable3
I was expecting a little more out of this cable set, but it is still very good, and I would recommend it. Especially for you Honda users who have tried to jump start your car with small, inadequate cables and have had no luck. These cables carry enough 'juice' to get the job done.
They are also quite long which is one reason I bought them and can make all the difference for a dead car that is parked away from the jumping car.
The issues I had were with the clamps. They are a strange design with two sideways teeth that look they they should work but the easily slip off of the battery terminals unless they are very level which isn't always possible in situations. Additionaly they aren't the greatest for connecting to engine brackets, etc. for jump-starting since you don't want to connect directly to the negative terminal on a dead battery.
A normal set of clamps would have done the job better, or possibly two sets of the sideways pieces so that the pressure is distributed evenly.

My only other issue was with the bag. Even though I was careful to fold them back as neatly as I could, it was still a somewhat tight fit, and when I zipped it up the zipper came off of one side and there is no re-entry point for the zipper to get back on track.

Not 4 gauge1
I bought these cables for the wire and not to use as jumper cables. The wire inside is 8 gauge at the most and not 4 gauge like it says. I will be returning them.

Jumper Cables5
These Jumper cables are heavy enough to carry all the current I need to jump off my farm machinery on the farm. I like their flexibility, which makes them easy to roll up and unroll. The carrying case is large enough to accomodate the cables without cramming them in. I haven't needed the side terminal extentions on them since all my equipment has top posts, but they will come in handy if I ever have to jump off my family car. They are long enough to reach any battery wherever I may have to park to get to it. The shipping was fast and the price was cheaper than I could get them locally. It was a good buy.
