Black & Decker 250
I purchased this power supply for a laptop computer. I noticed that the
full charge light goes out very quickly even with the unit not connected to a load. Then, after I turned the switch on, the laptop stayed powered for a very short time. Less than one hour.

Works as advertised
Arrived on Monday. Charged it (fyi, you need to charge it 40 hours prior to use). Used it on Thursday to jump the car. Started over on the first try.

My kids always leave the minivan sliding door open and we were sick of calling our motor club to jump it. Eventually we ran out of the covered visits that came with our motor club and had to call location gas stations for a jump. So I bought this. Based off of past experience, I knew we would be uysing it a lot. My wife called me this morning saying the kids did it again - left the door open. I walked her through the hookup on the phone, while she also followed the directions that come with the battery and in 2 minutes, she had the car running.

Glad we purchased it. Instead of calling a friend for a jump (btw, we have a one car garage, so I'd have to push the minivan out of the garage so that we could get another car next to our van for a jump), or a gas station, or a motor club, we just did it oursleves within 2 minutes!

Electomate Works
I have to pat myself on the back for getting this. I followed the directions and had to use it sooner than later. Started up my 12 year old GMC pickup like nothing was connected. Easy to operate, It is my new best buddy in my truck.

I got this because my 5 year old "somehow" hit the dome lights only to find my truck dead on Monday morning. I had to back my wife's car out and use the slope of the driveway to jockey the truck out of the garaqe.
The Black & Decker VEC1026BD Electromate 250 Portable Power Supply and Jump Starter is a lot easier then that.
