Inspirational
**** Little girls dream of the perfect, princess wedding, but, often as not, the wedding can be a little quirky. In the tradition of the Chicken Soup books, this little volume collects stories recounting the funny, touching, and endearing moments that have made weddings and marriages across the years special. Unusual meetings, enduring loves, potential catastrophes, pranks, and fond memories are only a few of the things that are highlighted in this anthology that shows what is truly important about the oldest institution. This is a truly heartwarming gift for any member of a wedding party. ****

A worthwhile cup of comfort
What a charming anthology! After going through my sister's recent nuptuals, I was about "weddinged out," so when I picked up the book, I wasn't expecting to really enjoy it...but I did. The stories were so varied, and rather than focusing on the weddings, you learn the love stories behind them. It would be a great gift for any bride feeling stressed out by the logistics and overwhelming organizational tasks of getting married because it takes you out of "bride" mode and puts you back into "love" mode. And what stressed bride-to-be doesn't occasionally need a reminder that the wedding is just a few moments, but the marriage is forever?
