Wonderful Tool
I replaced the roof on my house with this wonderful tool. As far as I can tell, the only difference between the reconditioned Bostitch roofing nailer and a new one is the price. This nail gun works wonderful and really saved my forearms. It helped in quickly aligning the shingles and the driving force was easily dialed in. Very few nails needed to be finished off with the hammer. It is easy to load and use.
Very Good Value
I was renting one of these from the local rental store and they were charging $24/day, or $96 if you wanted to use it for a week. Of course it started raining halfway thru the first day, so I took it back.
We had a large pitchy roof with a reverse gable and the entire thing was 2000 square feet and would have teken forever to do with a hammer. I found this deal here on Amazon and figured it was better to buy it outright instead of renting one, and then I will own it.
The tool worked great, with very few double fires. It was hard to tell the difference between a new one and a refurbished one. It got used hard for a week straight. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and even happier that I now have it if I do any other roofing. I could probably even sell it for what I paid for it. They go twice as much for a brand new one.
I am very satisfied with it.
Like New
My factory reconditioned roofing gun came in a nice box from the company. It looks virtually new. It has a few scratches here and there but very little. It looks like it went through about four hours of actual roof abuse. I received it about two days after ordering. I am extremly happy with the quality and price.
