While we tend to associate it with Polka music and Weird Al Yankovic, the accordion makes a rich sensual sound that personifies French music. It is perfect backround music for almost all work and play. The movie is awesome too.

The score of the sadly short lived, futuristic cartoon "Batman Beyond" Is Metalesque, Futureesque, and Pulsing-esque? If you listen to it in your car you can imagine you are drag racing in some sort of Blade Runneresque nighmare world. Esque!

Blade Runner is a sci-fi noir piece of a distopian society of the future. The score has a lot of synthasized sound that was popular in the eighties, but in this case very much serves the music and the movie, creating a lost, romantic, dangerous sound.

Of all the Rodgers and Hammerstien I watched as a kit, Carousel is the one that stood the test of time and critical eye of adulthood.

Another Futuristic Noir Soundtrack/Score. Has the punch and unabashedly commits to it's sound in the way only Anime can. But don't be fooled by the cartoon cover. This can stand up to any of my Tarantino Soundtracks

This soundtrack is not as good overall as the first, but a couple truly great songs make it more than worth it. Like the second half of the movie it'self, it took a second listen to appreciate it, but the subtleties made it well worth it.

This sounds as mythically romantic as the movie itself was.

Ominous, Foreboding, Nastolgic. Sepia Toned. It is a even and wicked score that sort of follows you.

Stick It was a great movie because it was a teen flick without a love interest, which means it defied the conventions of teen movie asshatery which they are so suseptable. The soundtrack does the same thing, it has punch and pop without being obnoxious.

My favorite movie and my second favorite score. Absolutly amazing. It is fairy tail like but quirky and interesting. I love this score so much, that when I am having an anxiety attack, it soothes me immediatly.

Ok, there is an odd assortment of songs in this and they are not all works of brilliance. But Rufus Wainwright's Hallelujah is sorrowful and rapturous. The rest is poppy rock that is also fairly good.

Worth renting or buying if you have not already seen it. But the score takes the cake, "The Roan Inish" Theme is lovely, and shows that there is more to Irish music than Flogging Molly and Drinking songs.

This movie put Baz Lurman up with Tarantino and Burton when it came to great theatrical stylized movies. Strictly Ballroom was a great movie, but a dull soundtrack, but this one takes the cake. It is harsh wild fun, with lighter slower end pieces.

'Wow' and 'Main Title: Nemo egg' are amazing aquatic lullubies. I found myself making a mix where I took out the parts that followed the more hectic and exiting parts of the movie and just listening to the soothing beauty of the other parts. Beyond the Sea is a nice mellow number at the end. Absolutely Perfect.

Like Spice Girls of Mika, great pop has no irony or self awareness to ruin the fun, just complete thrusting earnestness. Like the Commitments, Josie and the Pussycats is about a mythical band. It's all purple lepord print and 16-year old additude, just like it should be.

Hot David Bowie in glitter and poet shirt being a sexy elvin king while singing sexy fairy tale lullubies at you. Yum.

This movie makes me understand the value of Castrados in Renissance times. Voices of Angels. And unlike most child choirs, the music itself is lovely without being saccrine.

Heh, A Vampire classic with not one but two Coreys in it. Eighties meets Vampire music with great songs like "People are Strange" and "Don't let the Sun Go Down on Me"

The second album is not strong enough to stand on it's own like Romeo and Juliet2, but it does have several songs that the first album missed, like "Meet Me In the Red Room" and a great cover of Queen's "The Show Must Go on"

Cool and Stylish, just like the movies. This score makes you feel like you are stylish and clever thief, ready to outwit everyone. They are Sharp, like a new suit on George Cloony
