We go to American Home Brewing Supply and examine all the equipment you may encounter when purchasing your home brew equipment setup. We discuss the various kit options available as well as optional items that will make your brewing experience more efficient. This is great for new brewers that have little experience with the many equipment options.

After learning about the various equipment options, you are presented with an equipment menu. Select the option that best represents what equipment you already have at home or what you plan to purchase. For the remainder of the DVD, we will tailor the brewing process to your equipment setup. As your equipment setup expands, the DVD can show you how to brew great beer using that new setup. This feature gives this DVD greater longevity than any other product on the market.

Main Components
You will learn the main components of beer and how they effect flavor, color and aroma. This allows you to make informed decisions when formulating recipes and selecting ingredients.

Three in One
This dvd is like having three dvds in one. You learn how to brew
with single stage, two stage and a conical. I actually found it to be a
great visual companion to a couple brewing books I picked up. I fully
recommend it.

A must have
I've dabbled in home brewing for years. I decided on a whim to pick this up, and was pleasantly surprised. The unique menu system and series of videos tailor the instructions to your equipment. Now I finally know what a conical fermenter really is, and how to properly use it.

I've since passed the DVD on to a friend who wanted to learn to brew. Based on the video, he successfully created his first Ale with no prior experience.

It's a good investment for beginners and the occasional brewer.

easy to follow
I've been listening to the Brewium.com podcast and floating around their
website for a couple of months now and was looking forward to this DVD.
Easy to navigate the menu. Lessons are broken down in an easy-to-follow
format. Made a great beer and learned a lot.
