| I own two of the older versions of these cameras, the S800 and the XT. I recommend the S1100 for general portability. The S5 IS has very good reviews, and is a nice compromise between the two, if you are looking for a good, cheap, camera with image stabilization and a 12x zoom range. My XT takes amazing pictures of course, but dust is a problem and I'm seriously considering the upgrade to the XSi | ||
